At the June 4, 2018 Closed Session, the Village Board authorized settlement of the workers' compensation claim for Firefighter Andrew Kalinowski. Firefighter Kalinowski injured his low back as a result of lifting a patient. 

The settlement amount of $119,400.28 falls within the authorization previously granted by the Board. 

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board approve a settlement of $119,400.28 for the worker's compensation claim of Firefighter Andrew Kalinowski.
