At the March 19, 2018 Closed Session, the Village Board authorized settlement of the workers' compensation claim for Firefighter Phillip Palczynski. Firefighter Palczynski had a series of accidents resulting in a lower back  injury in April, June, July and August of 2016 while working for the Village.

The settlement amount of $69,766.20 falls within the authorization previously granted by the Board.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board approve a settlement of $69,766.20 for the workers' compensation claim of Firefighter Phillip Palczynski.
