The Village of Arlington Heights Emergency Operations Plan establishes an Emergency Management Organization and assigns functions and tasks consistent with the National Incident Management System. The content is based upon guidance approved and provided by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.  The Plan, which is revised every two years, provides for the integration and coordination of planning efforts of multiple jurisdictions and agencies within the Village to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Village Board approve the attached 2018 Emergency Operations Plan.
