In reviewing the IDOT plans for the resurfacing of Algonquin Road from Golf Road east through town, the Village requested IDOT include the resurfacing of a short stretch of Tonne Road from Algonquin Road north to Falcon Drive in their plans.  This small section of Tonne Road has not previously been included in the Resurfacing Program due to the time required for an IDOT permit, traffic signal loops, etc.

The attached Intergovernmental Agreement will allow the State to resurface Tonne Road from IL Route 62 north to Falcon Drive. In addition, there is a separate funding Resolution that is attached as Exhibit B but will be approved separately. The Village’s share is $34,500 and the funds are available in the Street Resurfacing Budget (Account #401-5001-571-50-30).

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Village Board approve the attached Resolution Approving an Agreement with the State of Illinois for the resurfacing Tonne Rd from Algonquin Rd north to Falcon Dr.
