At the February 4, 2019 Closed Session, the Village Board authorized settlement of the workers' compensation claim of former Fire Division Chief Victor Tamosaitis. Mr. Tamosaitis injured his left shoulder and elbow while lifting and moving an unconscious patient. 

The settlement amount of $151,044 falls within the authorization previously granted by the Board. 

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Village Board approve a settlement of $151,044 for the workers' compensation claim of former Fire Division Chief Victor Tamosaitis.
