Item: Resolution - Temporary Employment Agreement - Interim Engineer

Attached is an Employee Leasing Agreement between the Village of Arlington Heights and GovTempUSA, LLC for a work site contract employee within the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department. Due to staff reductions and increased work load with permit reviews, it is extremely difficult to manage the volume of work and maintain accuracy and good customer service.  Funds were budgeted for contract engineering work in the FY19 Budget. The leased employee will work approximately 20 hours per week.  This is a cost effective approach to providing service to our customers.   

 

RECOMMENDATION

 

It is recommended that the Village Board approve the attached Resolution Approving an Employee Leasing Agreement between the Village and GovTempUSA, LLC.
