Background:

The Northwest Suburban Genealogy Society is requesting a waiver of the bond requirement for their raffles held during their general monthly meetings on the first Saturday of the month.  Meetings are from 9:00am to 12:00pm.  This waiver request is for the period of September 1, 2019 to May 5, 2020.  Depending on availability of raffle items, raffles would be held 1-3 times a year.  The value of the raffled items would be approximately $25.00 to $150.00.  Raffle tickets would be sold prior to each meeting, with the drawing taking place shortly after.   

Recommendation:

It is recommended that the Village Board waive the bond requirement as requested by The Northwest Suburban Genealogy Society.
