ComEd is requesting an easement on the south central side of Lake Arlington to connect two ends of a grid loop to bring primary power circuits together. This will provide redundancy to the power grid in the Lake Arlington and Vista subdivisions and is part of the reliability improvements being performed by ComEd.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Village Board adopt the attached Resolution Authorizing a Grant of Easement for Electric Facility Purposes to ComEd.
